Meditation is a skillful and profound method for training in inner peace
and happiness. In this class you will learn how to meditate, how to
establish a daily practice, how to concentrate and how to overcome
distractions. The meditations are taken from The New Meditation Handbook
by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
These guided meditations are the foundation for developing a powerful
meditation practice. A daily meditation practice has many benefits:
• Helps to overcome stress, anxiety, and worry
• Brings inner calm and a feeling of well-being
• Gives clarity to solving our problems
• Helps us deal with difficult people and situations
Each class consists of a short explanation, chanted prayers, and a 20-minute guided meditation.
